The NACE conference is now 10 years old! We return to Portland this year, coming off an excellent program in Connecticut in 2006 – a program that attracted over 300 attendees, and representatives from thirty companies in the trade show. The 2008 event promises to keep delivering a quality program, and to attract businesses that have products useful to growers of all types. Finfish and shellfish, freshwater and marine, plant and animal – NACE 2008 will have something for you. We hope to see you at the Eastland Park Hotel this December!

| THE HISTORY OF NACE |
In 1998 and 2000, the Maine Aquaculture Innovation Center sponsored the first Northeast Aquaculture Conference and Exposition (NACE™). From 1996 to 1999, the Rhode Island Legislative Commission on Aquaculture sponsored an annual aquaculture meeting sharing interests and information on aquaculture. In 2000 and 2001, the event was expanded into the Southern New England Aquaculture Conference. In 2002, the third NACE was born, uniting the region from Maine to New Jersey, in a coordinated effort to promote aquaculture commerce.
